I am not pretending everything is ok, just because the world is still turning and everyone is getting on with their life. I have a ding, along with many friends and family members.
The world has lost a force.
A mighty force.
She was the Patron Saint of Silliness.
A bright and shiny Social Genius.
A generous ball of love.
Her name was Bridget, full of Irish Flim Flam and shenanigans .
When you were in her company, you were hers.
An awesome story teller.
She could make you snort with laughter, pee your pants, you were putty in her hands.
She wrote you a thank you note for every little thing.
She took care of feral cats and found them homes.
She supported a child name Pree in a far away land.
She was the Queen of all that is fun.
Fairy gardens and garlic gnome parties in her garden of twinkle lights infused with love, faith and hope.
She lived out loud, she shared her journeys, her love, her faith, her hope, her joy, and her run with cancer -- all with a sparkle in her eye.
I am going to honor her memory by showing up more, by leaning in and finding more joy in the ordinary.
Is there someone's memory you want to honor today? How are you going to do it?
